Ready for some friendly mahj competition? Join us Thursdays this March for Mahj Madness, a four-week American mahjong league intended for beginner-friendly competition, social play, and community!

  • Thursday evenings in March: March 5, March 12, March 19, March 26

  • Play time: 7 to 9 p.m. - Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

  • National Mah Jongg League rules (no blanks)

  • 2 hours of play each week

  • Beginner-friendly simplified scoring

  • Crema Coffeehouse drinks and food available for purchase

Location: The Era Collective building (home of Crema Coffeehouse), 275 Union Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63108

Space is limited to 40 players. Due to limited space, all sales are final and no refunds will be processed.

This league follows National Mah Jongg League rules with simplified scoring, making it approachable while still rewarding strong play and smart strategy. Each week, players will enjoy two hours of table time, with four games counting toward your league score for the night.

Scores accumulate across all four weeks, and at the end of the league, cumulative scores determine first, second, and third place winners, with prizes and bragging rights on the line.

Whether you’re looking to sharpen your game, enjoy regular play with fellow mahj lovers, or add a little competitive spark to your March evenings, Mahj Madness is the perfect mix of structure, strategy, and fun.
