Fall Mahjong League

Our Fall Mahjong League kicks off Tuesday, September 8!

Magpie Mahjong’s Fall Mahjong League is a four-week American mahjong league intended for beginner-friendly competition, social play, and community. Each week, play on beautiful mahjong tables with high-end tiles and mats in an inviting space at Stupp Center in Tower Grove Park. You’ll be assigned to a new table weekly to experience new tiles and new friendly competition. Meet new friends, level up your game, and compete for more than just bragging rights—there are fabulous mahjong prizes for the top three finishers!

  • Dates: September 8, September 15, September 22, and September 29

  • Play time: 7 to 9 p.m. - Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

  • National Mah Jongg League rules (no blanks) using the 2026 NMJL card

  • 2 hours of play each week

  • Beginner-friendly simplified scoring

  • Compete for high-end mahjong prizes, including a mahjong tile set!
