St. Louis Fall Mahjong League - Hosted by Magpie Mahjong & Tower Grove Park
Mahjong league is back! Join us Tuesday nights this September for Fall Mahjong League, a four-week American mahjong league intended for beginner-friendly competition, social play, and community. This is your weekly mahjong date! You’ll be assigned to a new table weekly to experience new tiles and new friendly competition. Compete for fabulous mahjong prizes for the top three finishers (including a tile set—more details to come!). If you know how to play mahjong independently, you’re ready for league!
Dates: September 8, 15, 22 & 29
Play time: 7 to 9 p.m. - Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
National Mah Jongg League rules (no blanks) using the 2026 NMJL card
2 hours of play each week
Beginner-friendly simplified scoring
Compete for high-end mahjong prizes for our top three finishers
Complimentary drinks and snacks included, or always feel free to bring your own (alcohol included!)
