Join us under the disco balls at Hidden Gem for Tinsel & Tiles, a festive holiday edition of Magpie Mahjong’s signature Meet Me at Mahj open play night. Settle in for a merry night of mahj with holiday-themed mahjong tables and tiles. Everything you need to play is provided, so grab your mahjong friends—or come solo and make some new ones—and get ready for holiday mahjong under the sparkle of Hidden Gem’s signature mirrorballs.
Festive attire is encouraged, be that tacky Christmas sweaters, sequins, bows, or all things merry and bright.
All levels are welcome, but this is an open play event and there is no formal instruction. Players should have completed a Mahjong 101 lesson or have previous American mahjong playing experience. If you’re newer to the game, especially if you’re fresh off a Magpie 101 or 102, instructor Ali Salter is happy to offer guidance and tips as needed.
